1.    South Waziristan - Operation Rah-e-Nijat. Details of operation of last 24 hours are as follows:-
a. Jandola Sector. Security forces search operation at Ziarat is under process.
b. Shakai Sector.
(1) Security forces cleared Ospana Raghazai.
(2) Clearance and search operation at Kudi Ghar Sar, Nanu and Khaisura is under process.
(3) Terrorists fired 6 rockets at Spin Jammat, which was effectively responded.

c. Razmak Sector
(1) Security forces cleared 46 compounds including a training Markaz at Marobi West and defused 9 IEDs.
(2) Terrorists fired 10 rockets and with small arms at Saidullah Post near Dwa Khula and Pash Ziarat which was effectively responded.
(3) Security forces apprehended 4 suspects at Shewa.

2. Swat – Malakand – Operation Rah-e-Rast
a. 5 terrorists voluntarily surrendered themselves to security forces at Sakhra and Asharai near Matta.
b. Security forces apprehended 9 suspects at Kabbal, Bakhro near Madyan, Qambar and Tahirabad near Mangora.

3. Relief Activities. 19,716 Cash Cards have been issued to displaced families of Wazirsitan.

General Hasan AKSAY, Commander Turkish Air Force called on General Tariq Majid, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) at Joint Staff Headquarters and exchanged views on the regional security situation, matters related to bilateral defence cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.

The visiting dignitary while expressing sympathy on the loss of lives in terrorist attack at Parade Lane mosque on 4^th December 09,  reiterated Turkey’s steadfast support to Pakistan to overcome its security challenges.

In response the CJCSC thanked for the expression of solidarity and said that our struggle is solely for the defence of Islamic and national integrity. Since our objectives are sincere and our national determination strong, we shall Inshaallah succeed .
