She was grazing animals when hit by a bullet. ::

Rawalpindi - January 18, 2010: 

ISPR UPDATE 18 JANUARY 2010

1.   South Waziristan - Operation Rah-e-Nijat.   Details of the operations of last 24 hours are as follows:-

a.   Jandola Sector. During search and clearance operation Udin Sar near Janata, security forces defused 2 IEDs while an IED blasted, resultantly, 2 soldiers got injuries.

b.    Shakai Sector

(1) Security forces conducted search and clearance operation in Spin Narai near Ghani Khel. During encounter 1 terrorist was killed.

(2) Terrorists fired with small arms and rockets at security forces at Trikali Kubrai near Ghani Khel, resultantly, 1 soldier was injured.

c.   Razmak Sector. Security forces carried out area domination of Pash Ziarat, Marobi Ragzai and Manakai Algad near Makeen.

2.   Swat Malakand Operation Rah-e-Rast. 

a. Security forces conducted search and clearance operation in Sharn, Nasapai and Ochar near Sakhara and recovered cache of arms and ammunitions.

b. Security forces conducted search and clearance operation at Wainai Bridge near Chuprial, Kuz Nawagai near Ambela, Tando Dag near Kabal and apprehended 2 suspects.

c. Security forces conducted search and clearance operation at Asharbanr near Charbagh. During encounter 2 terrorists were killed.
