US Special Envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke called on Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at General Headquarters today.

The visiting dignitary remained with the Chief of Army Staff for some time and discussed the matters of mutual interest.

            Charge D’ Affair Poland Embassy Mr. Wieslaw Kucharek and Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina H.E. Mr. Armin Limo also called on CJCSC and briefed him on his upcoming visit to their countries.

Rawalpindi - November 15, 2010: 

Pak Army is continuously imparting specialized Anti Terrorizes Training to other law enforcement agencies for establishing effective security mechanism. This training is an ongoing process in accordance with the directive of COAS General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani.

An impressive passing out parade of Police personnel who have been successfully imparted with tailor-made Anti Terrorism Training was held at Padhar Training Center near Jhelum. Brigadier Atif Zahid Khokhar reviewed the parade and emphasized the significance of specialized skills to combat the prevailing menace of terrorism. Later, the Chief Guest awarded prizes to those Policemen who distinguished themselves from others during the training period. First prize was awarded to Constable lmtiaz Ali for being overall best in all the training events. Constable Luqman Shahzad won the 2nd position prize while ASI Qaisar Mehmood secured the 3rd position.
