Security Forces foiled a suicide attempt early this morning at Nowshera and saved many precious lives. Reportedly a suicide bomber, 17-18 years of age, who was about to make an attempt on a Security Forces convoy was spotted by two Junior Commissioned Officers(JCOs) Naib/Subedar Muhammad Naeem Akhtar and Naib Subedar Muhammad Rafique, of School of Artillery . Both the JCOs daringly got hold of the suicide bomber physically. Meanwhile, the other security staff also reached the spot and immediately cordoned off the area to avoid Improvised Explosive Device threat, if any.

Security Forces have taken into custody the suicide bomber for detailed investigation. Reportedly, he was wearing a suicide jacket packed with 10-15 Kgs of explosives. The bomb disposal squad, on reaching the site, diffused the detonators.
