Lieutenant General Abdul Rahman Bin Abdullah Al Murshid, commander Saudi Land Forces  called on General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) at Joint Staff Headquarters Chaklala. He remained with CJCSC for sometime and discussed matters of professional interest and evolving geo-strategic environments of the region. Both the dignitaries also discussed the areas of mutual cooperation between the two armed forces.

Rawalpindi - March 9, 2011: 

Lieutenant General Abdul Rahman Bin Abdullah Al-Murshid, Commander Royal Saudi Land Forces visited General Headquarters today and called on Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani. The visiting dignitary remained with him for some time and discussed matters of professional interest. He was also given briefings on various professional issues. The visit signifies the unique and brotherly relations enjoyed by the people and Armed Forces of both the countries.

Earlier on arrival at General Headquarters, Lieutenant General Abdul Rahman Bin Abdullah Al-Murshid, Commander Royal Saudi Land Forces laid wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented the Guard of Honour.
