Lieutenant Colonel Syed Imran Haider who was seriously injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast in North Wazirstan on 9th June embraced "Shahadat" on 18 June 2013 in Combined Military Hospital Peshawar. :: Roshni Begum resident of village Sawana Rajadini got injured due to Indian troops unprovoked firing at Karela Sector on 18 June 2013 at 1645 hrs. She was grazing animals when hit by a bullet. ::

Peshawar - July 7, 2011: 

A Spokesman of ISPR has said that hospital in Miran Shah North Waziristan Agency was demolished as security forces received heavy fire from the hospital building after the IED explosion on 5th July on a military convoy resulting into shahadat of three soldiers and seven injured. Terrorists hiding in the hospital even fired on the helicopters that went for the rescue. The hospital had proper firing bays and fox holes in the walls for effective firing.
There were also reports that miscreants, injured in different operations by security forces, were being treated in the same hospital. Spokesman said that realizing their responsibility, the Maliks of the area proposed destruction of the said hospital to the Political Administration.

Peshawar - July 7, 2011: 

PAKISTAN, AFGHANISTAN AND ISAF MILITARY MEET OVER BORDER INCURSION ISSUES

       A joint team of Pakistani, Afghan and US military members met today in Peshawar to discuss the recent spike in tensions emanating from incursions along the Pak-Afghan Border. The meeting of this Military Border Working Group was proposed by Pakistan Army.
       During the meeting, a comprehensive review of the situation was undertaken so as to ensure the sanctity of International border. The Pakistan Army proposed three steps in this regard:-
        a.      To establish a single point of contact with all Afghan National  Security Forces (Including Afghan Border )                    through a hotline between Pak Army and Afghan National Army.
         b.      Frequent Border Flag Meetings between local commanders.
         c.      Interaction / Jirgas between Maliks of bordering villages living  on either side of the border.
     The working group members also discussed the findings of the June 15th Ziarat border post incursion investigation which, it was decided, would be concluded shortly.
