Rawalpindi - August 31, 2011:

Armed Forces celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with traditional zeal and fervour. Eid congregations were held in garrison mosques where senior serving and retired military officers offered Eid prayers with troops.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Khalid Shameem Wynne alongwith other high ranking military and civil officials offered Eid prayers at Rawalpindi Cantonment.

An Eid congregation was held at Chaklala Garrison where the Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and a large number of high ranking military officials offered Nimaz-e-Eid with troops. After the Eid prayers, special Dua was held for the unity and prosperity of the country and well being of people of Pakistan.
