Lieutenant General Richard Barron, Deputy Chief of Defence Staff British Army called on General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.  He remained with the Chairman for some time and discussed Geo-Strategic situation of the region. During the meeting Mr. Peter Westmacott, British Ambassador to USA and Mr. Adam Mcclure Thomson, British High Commissioner to Pakistan were also present.

Rawalpindi - April 3, 2012: 

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani left for Saudi Arabia on an official visit, last night.
During the visit, COAS is scheduled to meet senior civil and military leadership of Saudi Arabia. Discussion will be focused on bilateral rations with emphasis on security and defence aspects.
Earlier, COAS was seen off by Lieutenant General Waheed Arshad, Chief of General Staff and Lieutenant General Khalid Nawaz Khan, Commander Rawalpindi Corps.
