The Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani today met with Chief Minister of NWFP at General Headquarters. The Chief Minister remained with him for some time and discussed ongoing Law Enforcement Operations in NWFP and rehabilitation of Displaced People.

1. Waziristan. Terrorists fired 34 rockets at security force check post at Razmak, North Waziristan Agency, resultantly 2 soldiers embraced shahadat.

2. Search and clearance operations are continuing in Swat and Malakand.

3. Swat

a. Security forces conducted search operation at village Shanku near Madyan and apprehended 2 brothers of terrorist Shanku Mulla.

b. 3 suspected terrorists voluntarily surrendered themselves to security forces at Deranpatai.

c. Security forces conducted search operation at village Roria near Khawazkhela and apprehended 5 terrorists.

d. During search operation at Kukrai near Mingora, 1 terrorist was apprehended.

e. 2 suspected terrorists voluntarily surrendered to security forces at Aman Kot.

f. 2 suspected terrorists voluntarily surrendered to security forces at Manja near Tutan Banda and Sarsanai near Kabbal.
