  • Increased number of troops on border outposts to minimize possibility of cross-border smuggling of CAN.

Rawalpindi - October 12, 2009: 

General Ilker BASBUG, Commander Turkish Armed Forces arrived in Islamabad today, on a three day official visit, on the invitation of General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Chief of Army Staff (COAS). He was personally received by the COAS on his arrival at the airport alongwith a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army, who presented salute to the dignitary.
