General Syed Asim Munir, COAS presided over the 81st Formation Commanders Conference at GHQ, which was attended by Corps Commanders, Principal Staff Officers and all Formation Commanders of Pakistan Army.Forum paid rich tribute to the supreme sacrifices of shuhadas including officers and men of the Armed Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies and Shuhada from civil society who laid their lives for the safety, security and dignity of the country.

Funeral prayer of Lance Naik Muhammad Sabir Shaheed (30 years, resident of District Manshera) who embraced shahadat in Ladha, South Waziristan on 5 June 2023 while fighting gallantly with terrorists, was offered earlier at D.I.Khan and later at his native hometown. The Shaheed was laid to rest with full military honours.

On 05 Jun 23, fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists in general area Ladha, South Waziristan District. Own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location.

The Shaheeds were laid to rest with full military honours.

On 03 Jun 23, fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists in North Waziristan District.Own troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location and two terrorists were sent to hell, while injuring another two.

General Sir Patrick Nicholas Yardley Monrad Sanders, Chief of General Staff (CGS) UK Army, called on General Syed Asim Munir, COAS at GHQ today. Upon arrival at GHQ, CGS UK Army, laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.

A group of terrorists targeted a security forces' post through fire in Singwan Area (Dist Kech) of Balochistan along Pakistan-Iran Border. Since troops on the Post were already alert and responded gallantly with all available weapons, a heavy fire exchange ensued.

On 31 May 2023, terrorists attempted to disrupt the ongoing polio campaign by firing on the members of Polio team, employed in general area Spinwam, North Waziristan District. Security forces, deputed to provide protection to the Polio team, effectively engaged terrorists' location ensuring safety of all members of the team and extricated them unharmed.

On 31 May 2023, security forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation in general area Dossali, North Waziristan District on reported presence of terrorists. During conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange occurred between security forces and terrorists, resulting in sending 2 x terrorists to hell.

General Syed Asim Munir, COAS visited Quetta Garrison where he addressed officers of Command & Staff College Quetta. While addressing the officers, COAS emphasized upon operational preparedness for conventional, sub-conventional and 5th Generation Warfare.
