Director General Punjab Rangers Major General Azhar Naveed Hayat Khan visited Harpal and Charwa Sectors today where Indian committed unprovoked CFV last night. DG met troops and appreciated effective response. He also visited victim  families from recent Indian Cease Fire Violations. The Director General assured them that Indian Cease Fire Violations are always responded effectively and shall continue.

Rawalpindi - September 22, 2017: 

Special Hotline Contact was established between Pakistan and Indian DGsMO. Issue of deliberate targeting of Pakistani civilians, residing in vicinity of working boundary was raised by DGMO Pakistan Army. The incident resulted into martyrdom of 6 innocent civilians while 26 were injured.
The violation clearly undermines all existing understandings on the issue. Indian DGMO was conveyed unflinching resolve of Pakistan Army to ensure security of its population and it shall continue to take all necessary measures to deter any such aggression in future.

Quetta - September 22, 2017: 

A contingent of students from leading educational institutes of Quetta attended a Boot Camp in the field area arranged by Pakistan Army at Quetta Garrison. Approximately 200 students from University of Balochistan, Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences, Quetta Science College, Musa College and Garrison Degree College underwent the 2 days camp.
On arrival, the students were given an over view of the operational and training activities conducted by Pakistan Army. The students were taken to the field area where they witnessed and experienced the challenges faced by officers and soldiers in the field. They resided in the army camp and witnessed various training activities in testing field environments. They also conducted live firing with small arms on the range and took keen interest in the stalls of various weapons and equipment under Armyís use. The Boot Camp was designed to create awareness about the activities and challenges faced by officers soldiers in the defence of motherland.
Students thanked Pakistan Army for giving them an opportunity to understand the hardships faced by our officers and men in the line of duty.
