INAUGURATION OF MILITARY HOSPITAL RAWALPINDI

PHARMACY

Lieutenant General Muhammad Rehan Burney, Surgeon General / Director General Medical Services (Inter Services) inaugurated the newly constructed state of the art waiting area and Pharmacy at Military Hospital, Rawalpindi. This Pharmacy has latest queuing system and a very comfortable environment for the patients who visit here for collection of medicines.

It is worth mentioning here that in line with the vision of Chief of the Army Staff, Military Hospital Rawalpindi was audited by Direct Assessment Services (DAS) a UK based company on behalf of ISO 9001:2008. The hospital was declared successful and a ceremony was held in Military Hospital for award of ISO 9001:2008 certificates to various departments. Lieutenant General Muhammad Rehan Burney, Surgeon General/DGMS (IS), congratulated Major General Waqar Ahmad Khan, Commandant Military Hospital and his team for achieving this feat. Moreover he emphasized that the hospital should use this certification as a platform to further improve upon its services. The ceremony was attended by senior officers from general Headquarters Medical Directorate, Commandants of various military hospital / institutes of Rawalpindi and senior hospital staff.
