Rawalpindi - October 20, 2017: 

Mr Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal, Afghanistan's Ambassador to Pakistan called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) at GHQ, today.

COAS strongly condemned recent terrorists’ attacks in Afghanistan, including attack on Afghan National Army Base in Kandahar. He expressed his sympathies with the bereaved families. COAS said that both countries have suffered a lot from terrorism and such attacks shall not deter our resolve and commitments for peace in the region.

Balochistan

FC Balochistan Conducted IBOs in Ghulam Pring (Killi Kungar) in Mastung and   Rojhan Jamali on terrorists hide outs involved in target killing and grenade attacks.  During operations 1 terrorist killed and 7 apprehended. Cache of arms and ammunition including explosive recovered.

Punjab

Pakistan Rangers Punjab along with Police and intelligence agencies conducted IBOs in various part of Punjab during last 48 hours including  DG Khan, Attock, Islamabad and Lahore.19 terrorists and their  facilitators were apprehended and large number of illegal weapons / ammunition of different calibers  recovered.

Rawalpindi - October 20, 2017: 

Pakistan Army team won Gold Medal in “Exercise Cambrian Patrol” held in UK in 2nd week of October. A total of 131 teams from across the world armies participated in the event known as one of the toughest patrolling test for military personnel. Cambrian Patrol is physically challenging and arduous exercise which concentrates on teamwork for achieving the mission held in the most unforgiving mountainous terrain of mid-Wales, UK, amid tactical and technical challenges, testing leadership, self-discipline, courage and determination of the participants.
This is the fourth time Pakistan Army has won Gold in the Cambrian Patrol winning the competition last year as well.
